A PAIR OF ENAMELLED SILVER-MOUNTED ‘JEWELLED’ IVORY FIGURES
GERMAN OR AUSTRIAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY
One carved as a clock peddler bearing a miniature dial with watch movement and four further miniature dials, the other carved as a female peddler carrying a basket with vegetables and pannier with grapes on her back, each on square pedestal with enamelled decorations and inset with lapis-lazuli
9 ½ (24 cm.) and 9 in. (23 cm.) high
