The stepped pediment above a Vitruvian scroll frieze centred by a shell mount, the central glazed door set with grillage, flanked to each side by a further door with glazed panel, the interior of each fitted with adjustable shelves, the panelled sides with inlaid ebony and acanthus-cast surround, above an acanthus and flower-head frieze and three lower panelled cupboard doors, each angle with a fluted pilaster, on acanthus-cast toupie feet; the central door lockplate engraved 'P. SORMANI/10 rue Charlot/Paris'
