MAKER'S MARK AN ANCHOR BETWEEN EG CROWNED, TENTATIVELY ATTRIBUTED TO EDWARD GIBSON (JACKSON REVISED EDITION P.147), LONDON, 1696
On gadrooned foot, applied with cut-card acanthus leaves below a narrow applied girdle, with acanthus leaf-capped scroll handles, engraved with a lady's coat of arms for a spinster named Barber or Fanshaw(e) to one side and later initials 'MM' to the other, the cover with gadroon rim, cut-card work and fluted knop finial
