JIN/YUAN DYNASTY (1115-1368)
Of rectangular shape, the slightly concave top decorated with a Buddhist lion holding in its mouth a ribbon tied to a brocade ball, the sides variously decorated with sprays of bamboo, peony and lotus enclosed with a shaped cartouche framed by foliate scroll, the base with impressed mark reading 'Zhang Jia Zao'
