TWO CHINESE GILT BRONZE MODELS OF LAMAS
18TH CENTURY
Both figures are seated in dhyanasana on double lotus bases and wear long loose robes open at the chest and incised with details, one holds his hands in dhyana mudra, the other holds his right hand in abhaya mudra while his left hand holds a mongoose. Each figure is inscribed to the reverse.
