Meiji period (late 19th century), signed Kowa and sealed Hiro
Of compressed bulbous form set on three feet, the lid and body chiseled and inlaid in gold, silver, shakudo and copper with geese on a brown ground, the lid set with a silver quail finial, signature on body and seal on base
