The lozenge form set on four bracket feet, decorated over the crackled transparent glaze in polychrome enamels and gilt with panoramic scenery, on one side with ferry boats approaching a bank of blossoming cherry trees, and the opposite side with a daimyo procession, the pierced lid and feet decorated with a profusion of chrysanthemums; signature on base
