Cast to show the frontal figure of the Buddha standing on a stepped lotus plinth, the left hand raised with open palm in the abhayamudra and the right hand lowered in the varadamudra, gestures of offering to the faithful in fulfillment of the vow and granting the absence of fear, the drapery of an outer robe arranged in u-shaped pleats around the torso and in two long u-shaped pleats articulating the thighs, a band across the open chest indicates an inner robe and a scarf gracing the shoulders and arms falls in pointed folds on either side of the figure; back of the figure recessed and unfinished
