drypoint, 1886, on Japan paper, a fine, tonal impression of the very rare first state (of three), signed and dated in pencil, countersigned and titled Le Christ calmant la tempête in red crayon verso, with narrow margins, pale staining in the upper margin, remains of old paper tape at upper right, otherwise in good condition
