Oval on four scroll and leaf feet, the openwork rim cast with fruiting vines and bacchinalian masks, the sides pierced with scrolls and strapwork, chased with a band of flowers, scrolls and shells around an applied boss engraved with a coat of arms for Capron, the conforming handle with putto terminals and engraved with a crest for Capron
