Château Cheval-Blanc 1959
One corroded capsule. Badly bin-soiled labels, two damaged, one badly torn. Levels: two top, one upper-shoulder
Tasting note: Back on form. Hot, difficult vinification but the end result was a superb wine. Most recently: fairly deep, very fragrant, very sweet, very rich with fabulous flavour and aftertaste. Powerful, perfect tannin and acidity. Outstanding. Last tasted April 2002 ***** M.B.
