A blue and white faience jar
probably Frankfurt, globular with a short neck, painted in chinoiserie with an extraordinary procession of a dragon lead on a rein escorted by Oriental attendants carrying a banner, blowing a trumpet and waving a fan, set in a rocky landscape strewn with willow and pine-trees with an exotic pavilion in the distance -- 9½in. (24cm.) high, circa 1700 (flakes to surface, rim restored)
