A Small Slip-Inlaid Buncheong Stoneware Saucer
Joseon dynasty (16th century)
The circular dish resting on a raised ring foot inlaid in white slip on the interior with a central chrysanthemum medallion surrounded by two wide bands of rope curtain separated by double lines and a narrower band of leaves below the rim, the exterior inlaid in white slip with a wide band of rope curtain between leaf and lappet bands and with a ring of circles around the foot, the saucer additionally decorated with a green-tinged and glossy clear glaze
