painted to the centre with a snipe and a chaffinch and a scattering of insects within fluted and ozier-moulded borders painted with pink-scale-ground scroll-bordered panels, blue crossed swords mark and Pressnummern 29 -- 7in. (18cm.) wide, circa 1750 (wear to gilt and decoration, slight footrim chips)
