Joseon dynasty (Late 19th century)
With upright walls decorated in underglaze blue with four scrolling line sprays between a band of key frets below the rim and with a narrow blue line around the short foot, the flat cover painted in underglaze blue with orchids and rock within line borders, the box and cover also applied with clear glaze with a blue cast
