With globular lower body and tall, cylindrical neck ending a slightly everted lip, decorated around the perimeter with the felicitous combination of a bat and stalk of flowering peonies in dark lines and medium washes of underglaze cobalt blue, the whole additionally covered by a blue-toned transparent glaze
