A bronze figure of Pema Nyida Zangpo
Tibet, circa 15th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with his right hand raised in vitarkamudra and his left holding an amrita vessel, clad in flowing robes richly incised with a foliate pattern, the face with steady gaze, the base with an inscription at the rear and sealed and incised with a double-vajra

Lot Essay

The inscription on the reverse of the base is in Tibetan, and translates as "Homage to the great emanation Pema Nyida Zangpo!"
