A silver-inlaid brass figure of Shadakshari
Tibet, circa 13th century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with an incised foliate band, his principle hands held before his chest in anjalimudra and holding a silver jewel, clad in a striated dhoti and adorned with a silver-inlaid necklace, the face with elongated eyes and finely arched brows surmounted by a foliate tiara, the hair in a tall chignon, the base sealed and incised with a double-vajra
