A rare bronze figure of Prajnaparamita
Khmer, Angkor period, Bayon style, late 12th/early 13th century
The eleven-headed deity finely cast with her legs tucked under in sattvaparyankasana with her arms radiating around her, her smooth diaphanous sampot secured with an elegantly pleated sash, the principal heads tightly clustered in all directions and crowned by an image of Amitabha, with a silvery green patina overall
