ATTRIBUTED TO THE PAINTER OF THE LOUVRE CENTAUROMACHY, CIRCA 450-440 B.C.
The obverse with four figures from left to right, a satyr playing double auloi facing a maenad holding a thyrsos, another satyr holding a thrysos with a cornucopia in his right hand, facing a maenad tightly wrapped in a himation; the reserve with three draped youths, one holding a strigil, one leaning on a staff; running boars on underside of the rim, a band of linked lotus bud around the neck
