A GRISAILLE-DECORATED BOWL
REPUBLIC PERIOD (1912-1949)
The deep, rounded sides rise to a slightly everted rim and are decorated in grisaille with tree peony growing around a cloud-like rock on one side and on the reverse with a ten-character poetic phrase and three puce enamel seals. An apocryphal Yongzheng four-character seal mark in blue enamel is on the base.
