A 'HATCHER CARGO' BLUE AND WHITE SLEEVE VASE
TRANSITIONAL PERIOD, CIRCA 1643
The tall body is decorated with two large leaf-shaped panels enclosing a pair of deer, and a pair of horses, each pair shown in a landscape setting. The panels are separated by flowers and ornamental rocks between incised borders, and below flowering branches and insects on the waisted neck.
