QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)

A number of Qianlong-marked vases of this design have been published, including one in The S.C. Ko Tianminlou Collection, vol. II, Hong Kong, 1987, p. 88, no. 61; and another by Geng Baochang illustrated in Ming Qing Ciqi Jianding, Hong Kong, 1993, p. 118, fig. 157.

A very similar vase was sold at Christie's London, 13 May 2008, lot 203, and another at Christie's New York, 19 September 2006, lot 308.
