A BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS SCROLL' DISH
DAOGUANG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The dish has shallow, rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim. It is decorated on the exterior with a band of stylized lotus blossoms borne on a leafy scroll, which is repeated in a medallion on the interior.
7¾ in. (19.7 cm.) diam.
