A BLUE AND WHITE REVERSE-DECORATED 'DRAGON' DISH
DAOGUANG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The dish has rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, and is decorated in the center of the interior with a five-clawed dragon leaping amidst clouds and flames in pursuit of a flaming pearl below two further dragons at a similar pursuit in the well, which are repeated on the exterior above a band of petal lappets.
