A RARE LARGE RU-TYPE CHARGER
YONGZHENG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The charger has rounded sides that flare outwards at the rim, and is covered inside and out, and on the base, with a greyish-blue glaze suffused with icy crackle. The bottom of the foot is covered with a dark brown dressing in imitation of Song dynasty Ru wares.
