A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE BOWLS
SHENDETANG ZHI MARKS IN IRON RED, DAOGUANG PERIOD (1821-1850)
Each bowl has rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, and is delicately decorated on the exterior with lotus blossoms enclosing a ji (auspicious) character, alternating with twin fish suspended from demi-lotus blossoms incorporated into the tassle and chime-hung border at the rim, all above pink stylized bud motifs rising from a narrow gold band just above the foot.
