A BRONZE BRUSH REST
17TH CENTURY
The brush rest is hollow cast as five rocky pinnacles, on one side they rise from a turbulent sea where a carp leaps from the waves below the center pinnacle, and on the reverse they loom above a hunting scene of two foreigners on horseback pursuing fleeing animals.
