A MOSS AGATE SNUFF BOTTLE

The well-hollowed bottle is of rounded, rectangular form, and raised on an oval foot rim. The stone is suffused with dense, deep green, moss-like inclusions.
2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high, coral stopper
Provenance
Kay Blair Collection (1916-1985), Princeton, New Jersey, acquired in London, 1960s, and thence by descent.
