AN IMPERIAL YELLOW GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
IMPERIAL GLASSWORKS, BEIJING, 1700-1800
The bottle is of flattened, slender, and slightly tapering form, raised on a oval, flat foot. Together with an aquamarine-blue glass snuff bottle, 1760-1880, of flattened ovoid form, carved with bats in flight amidst swirling clouds.
2 7/8 and 2¼ in. (7.5 and 5.6 cm.) high, jadeite and goldstone stoppers (2)
