A WHITE GLASS 'JOURNEY TO THE WEST' SNUFF BOTTLE
ATTRIBUTED TO WU XIJIU, 1910-1920
Of flattened, rounded form, supported on a raised foot ring, the bottle is engraved with scenes from 'Journey to the West', with carved lion-mask handles at either side. The base has an inscribed apocryphal Qianlong mark.
2 3/8 in. (6.2 cm.) high, coral stopper

Acquired 1960s or earlier.
