A PALE GREYISH-GREEN JADE FIGURE OF A BUFFALO
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The buffalo is carved in a recumbent position with one foreleg bent upright and the others tucked under the body, and with head turned to the side. The stone is of pale grey-green color with small inclusions of russet and buff color.
7½ in. (19 cm.) long, fitted stand
