Lot Essay

The second edition contains two appendices not present in the first, Observations on the probability of reaching the South Pole and Second Voyage of the Beaufoy to Tierra del Fuego. Bound at the front of this copy is a 16pp. publisher's advertisement pamphlet dated June 1829.
