Finely painted overall with polychrome neoclassical motifs and grisaille figural cameos, the upper half partly lined in its original painted silk, with bevelled mirrored panels and projecting bevel-glazed central section part-lined in velvet and with an adjustable glass shelf flanked by swing-out drawers and shelves, the lower half with a long frieze drawer stamped 'GILLOW & CO./ 14675/', the drawer lock stamped 'BY ROYAL LETTERS PATENT', above glazed side cupboards lined in velvet, flanking a central cupboard enclosing a shelf
