Lot Essay

The monumental size of the present vase suggest and execution at the CVM-Pauly premises at piazzo colonna on Murano, prior to 1928. The year, CVM-Pauly abandoned this furnace and reduced their glass making activities to a demonstration level using a smaller furnace in Venice, unsuitable for the production of large objects.
