Lot Essay

The present work is based on the imagery created by the media depicting wars and conflicts and their impact on the Middle East or in Vietnam throughout history. Through his black and white stills, Aramesh recreates and captures dramatic scenes that are re-enacted by non-professional actors, most of them being from ethnic groups who have been affected by armed conflicts in the recent years.
