Arabic manuscript on vellum, with 44ll. of polychrome maghrebi with several words highlighted in gold, with a line of signatures and two stamped seals on the lower edge as well as further notes in the lower margin, set within polychrome margins of scrolling floral vine with fleur-de-lys set inside double-ruled borders, small areas of loss to edges of the vellum

This certificate affirms that a certain Muhammad bin 'Ali al-Sharif al-Hassani, originally from Urjiva (Orgiva) in Andalusia is a Sayyid (decendant of the Prophet).
