Ink with gouache heightened with gold on paper, verso with an elegant nasta'liq quatrain set in white clouds reserved against gold ground decorated with scrolling floral vine, signed in the lower left hand corner of the panel kataba al-faqir Mir 'Ali set in wide margins with rectangular cartouches containing nasta'liq verses on a ground of gold floral illumination, recto with floral bouquet tied with a pink ribbon on white ground, set in similar borders with nasta'liq verses and outer margins with similar gold illumination on salmon ground
Calligraphic panel 6¼ x 3 3/8in. (16 x 8.6cm.); folio 17 3/8 x 12¼in. (44.3 x 31cm.)
