Arabic manuscript on gold-sprinkled paper, 536ff. plus 3 fly-leaves, each folio with 13ll. of elegant black naskh, gold verse roundels, sura headings in white naskh on gold ground flanked by polychrome floral vine, the text panel within gold rules, large gold and polychrome marginal medallion juz' markers, catchwords, the opening bifolio with two large shamsas containing prayers written in white naskh, on a ground of scrolling floral vines, the following bifolio with text written in white clouds on gold ground with headings in white naskh above and below in strapwork bands, the margins with interlocking palmettes containing scrolling floral vine, the thrid bifolio and the colophon with text in white clouds on gold ground with margins of scrolling vine issuing rosettes, the colophon signed Muhammad Salah bin Hafiz Muhammad Khush Nevis bin 'Ali Muhammad, in later brown morocco
