ANATOLIA, EARLY 18TH CENTURY
Of rounded form with raised central omphalos, the central roundel worked in repoussé with a central rosette surrounded by a star motif, the interstices filled with small palmettes, a band of swagged pendants around the roundel, the exterior with a similar band around the rim, and with an Greek inscription below, minor dents, overall good condition
5 3/8in. (13.6cm.) diam.

The inscription around the side of this bowl reads, Neofitos Ieromonahos 170 Alpha 'Young Priest Ieromonahos'
