7 double-page woodcut maps, each approximately 381 x 407 mm, many with extensions to show Korea, printed in color, bound in original blue wrappers, title label.
The seven maps in this atlas show Japan in various periods between 660 B.C. and 824 A.D., with special attention to provinces and the spread of Japanese influence into Korea. The work was published by a firm that was founded in 1710, and was best known for their many city maps of Tokyo in the early nineteenth century.
