Folding woodcut map printed in colors, 584 x 928 mm, with contemporary manuscript extension, 139 x 279 mm, original board covers, printed title label, blue cloth case.

A very fine map, printed in seven colors, of Nagasaki and the surrounding coast. The manuscript extension illustrates the road to Kobekame on the peninsula to the south. Nagasaki was the first port of entry to Japan for foreigners since 1568, and the island of Dejima, the site of the Dutch factory, is visible in the bay. the surrounding countryside is decorated with scenic places noted, and religious shrines.
