FIRST ISSUE, first state of this map of the Caribbean based on the extremely rare Hessel Gerritz chart of ca 1631, and first published in Jansson's Atlas Majoris Quinta Pars, Orbem Maritimum. The large-scale enables much detail to appear from Central Florida to the Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica and Puerto Rico. Burden 291.
