First printing of one of the most popular plans of North American cities of it's time. Jeffreys geographer to the Prince of Wales, produced maps and plans after his own surveys and from existing plans by others, including Richard Gridley, d'Anville, de la Tour and de Caylus. This map first appeared in Thomas Jefferys, The Natural and Civil History of the French Dominions in North and South America. London, 1760.
