First state with with the 16th February, 1776 imprint. Insets of Montreal and Quebec. This map outlines the boundaries of the new British province of Quebec at the end of the French and Indian War. "The map shows places visited by Carver - see also the detailed insets - during the recent French and Indian War" (Goos). First published in North American Atlas this is "one of the most authoritative and comprehensive atlases of America..." (Walter Ristow).
