Hand colored engraved map in four sheets joined into two panels (top and bottom), contemporary hand-coloring in outline, image 1040 x 1180 mm (1072 x 1216 mm sheet). Showing colonies, cities, Indian tribes, and rivers, title cartouche with an alligator, waterfall, palm trees and other flora, includes inset "The supplement to North America containing the countries adjoining to Baffins & Hudson bays" and tables of European possessions. (Some browning and staining, a few marginal tears.)
