Comprising a large fragmentary vellum bifolio, written with 10ll. of very elegant large kufic script, including a fine gold sura heading for Qur'an LII (sura al-tur), the title of the sura outlined in sepia, issuing a palmette into the margin and overlined with an interlocking band, khams markers in the shape of a gold letter ha, 'ashr markers in gold roundels inscribed in kufic script; a fragmentary vellum bifolio with fine sepia kufic script, with at least 8ll. of script originally identifiable with spherical letters mim and khams marker in the shape of the letter ha coloured in green, red and yellow; a fragment from a vellum folio in gold kufic script, with blue and red vocalization, with at least 10ll. of script originally; a fragmentary vellum bifolio of vertical format, with 11ll. of neat kufic script, with verse markers inscribed in kufic reserved against a gold ground; together with a very small vellum fragment from a kufic folio, a vellum folio from an Andalusian manuscript, possibly 11th or 12th century and a section from a Saharan manuscript, 19th century
