Lot Essay

Two calligraphic panels by Muhammad Qazwini, very similar in style to the present one, are in the Harvard Art Museums, apparently dated to 1845 and 1884 (https://www.harvardartmuseums.org/art/search?field_artist_search=Muhammad Qazwini).
