With plain rounded body rising from a flaring foot to a wide flat rim with openwork decoration, the openwork lid with further palmette friezes around swirling floral motifs, the intricate finial worked as a radiating stylised flower with hanging split-palmettes below a cast of a bird holding a red hard stone and its beak and carrying a facetted coral knob, the base inscribed N. K within a rough lobed panel
