SIX KUTAHYA POTTERY VASES
OTTOMAN TURKEY, LATE 19TH/ EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Each with green, red, blue and turquoise-blue painted decoration, comprising a pair of baluster vases with flaring mouth and gently sloping rim, the decoration consisting of rising and hanging palmettes amidst foliated tendrils ; a drop-shaped ewer, on short flaring foot, with ringed flaring mouth, loop handle and serpentine spout, the body painted with intricate entrelacs of lobed and elongated palmettes ; two drop-shaped vases, one with braided loop handle, each with floral motifs amidst palmettes rising from profuse and interlocking floriated tendrils ; and a vase with flaring body rising from a splaying foot, with ringed flaring neck, each parts with three elongated elaborate palmettes on fish scale ground, mounted and fitted as a lamp on square brass base
